Site Reliability Engineer (Senior or Staff)

Team Overview

The Deployments team within Platform Engineering builds and maintains the continuous delivery platform used by engineering teams. The platform is primarily based on Argo Workflows and ArgoCD and enables reliable deployments from development through production.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development and distributed systems
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar language
• Experience building and operating large-scale CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Understanding of Linux internals and networking concepts
• Customer-focused mindset
• Strong preference for automation

Responsibilities

• Build and improve continuous deployment systems
• Develop automation and platform tooling
• Improve onboarding for new services and applications
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering teams
• Support deployment infrastructure and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in on-call rotations
